Abstract

Small bowel is the most inaccessible part of gastrointestinal tract for the clinicians. Advances in imaging of small bowel with the new techniques including MR enterography (MRE) and CT enterography (CTE) have become the preferred diagnostic examinations for evaluation of entire small bowel. They can also provide valuable information about the extra luminal findings. Proper communication of radiologist with the clinician has a significant role in the diagnosis, management and treatment of patients with small bowel diseases. In this panel, interesting and difficult cases with small bowel abnormalities will be presented to the expert panelists and they will discuss about the imaging findings, probable diagnoses and clinical challenges.
