Meniscal injury and tearing is an important subject. Determining the accurate description and classification of tear pattern could help in surgical and treatment planning.
On the other hand there are some normal variants can predispose to tearing and also some normal anatomic structures can mimic tearing so it is crucial to be familiar with these items.
MRI is the modality of choice for evaluating of meniscal tears and treatment approaching. In this panel we will discuss the most challenging types of meniscal tears with focus on surgeon point of view and review some cases.
