The risk factors are similar and the same safety measures should be taken. The main differences are related to contrast dose ,physiology of children in reaction , handling and eradication of contrast media and also types of approved media for use in children. Whenever possible ,natural materials like air , water and saline should be used instead. Choosing most appropriate contrast medium should rely on  safety, tolerability, and efficacy, which is approved in age-specific clinical trials and personal experience.}, keywords = {Contrast Media,children,Physiology,dose,safety}, url = {https://www.icrjournal.ir/article_75445.html}, eprint = {} }
